We have been successful in gaining major funding from the GSTT Charity to establish a Centre for Organisational Resilience in Healthcare. The Centre will develop and test interventions to improve organisational resilience and become a focus for knowledge exchange with other groups worldwide. A major goal is to disseminate new ideas about risk management and safety throughout the NHS and assist organisations to implement resilience strategies. The Centre is a collaboration between King’s College London, Guy’s and St. Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust, and the Simulation and Interactive Learning Centre. It is expected to commence mid year and is funded for three years.
